Sometimes it feels like I’m missing out on some
monumental happenings in the U.S.
This week, I’m talking about one of my favorite SNL characters of all
SNLs, STEFON, leaving the show, (YES YES YES YES YES YES YES) and THE OFFICE, probably my favorite sit-com
of all time, having its finale. I sped
home after 6:00 yoga for years to join the gang in THE OFFICE, and I’m going to miss them. At first I thought this
show was way too dark and not very nice, but I’ve grown to love Dwight, don’t
ask me how that is possible, [Check this out: http://www.buzzfeed.com/themessupstairs/15-things-we-will-all-miss-about-dwight-shrute-aoy3]
I always rooted for Jim and Pam, got very nervous when they were on rocky shores this season, and am glad they are now in a two-person love fest. I even cheered for cranky Angela to get her man. And the master, Steve Carrell, well, he was my assurance of some good yuks every week he was on. You always cringed before he opened his mouth with great anticipation. It was a testament to the strong ensemble that they survived his departure, and S believes it may even been a good thing (he’s wrong) because some of the other characters were developed more, but there is no one more funny in their awkward in the entertainment industry than Michael J. Scott. We don’t have a TV this year, and it’s been fine, but we decided about 2 months ago we were crazy not to be watching THE OFFICE, so we’ve spent about 8 hours a week downloading the 22 minute wonder. Thanks for the laughs, Dwight, Michael, Angela, Holly, The Temp, Jim, Pam, Erin, Andy, Oscar, Toby, Kelly, Meredith, Stanley, Creed, Phyllis, and Darryl. Kevin, I’m sorry, but I never liked your character. I want a SHRUTE BEET FARM t-shirt! Yep, officially a groupie.
